About the wine
The Sylvaner grape, originally from Austria, found its way to the Rhône Valley in the middle of the 19th century and became known as Johannisberg in Valais. The “Trésors de Famille” develops intense fruit on the nose, complemented by sophisticated aromas of bitter almonds and hazelnuts. This dry, lively and award-winning specialty spoils the palate with bittersweet, mineral notes and a long, elegant finish.

Tasting note
In the glass, the wine is bright yellow with greyish-green reflections. Its fine bouquet seduces with aromas of nuts and bitter almonds, complemented by subtle notes of stone fruits and mineral freshness. On the palate, it impresses with a subtle acidity and a fine structure, which result in balanced harmony. The light bitter almond note and the aromas of bright stone fruits give it an elegant depth, while the finish remains long and smooth.
Culinary recommendation
This wine is ideal as an aperitif and goes wonderfully with asparagus, freshwater fish and delicate terrines.
