Tasting note
The vines of this Pinot Gris grow on pure Jurassic limestone soil in the very steep areas of the winery. Very low yields ensure exceptional quality. On the nose, there is an impressive fruit aroma of orange, orange zest and lemon, accompanied by iodic notes. On the palate, this Pinot Gris is in its highest form with remarkable finesse and depth. A true masterpiece!
Vinification
Katja ReineckerHandpicked, spontaneous fermentation, 80% aging in steel and 20% in large wooden barrels. After one year in wooden barrels, the wines are stored on the yeast for another six months before they are bottled.
