Tasting note
Opaque, brilliant ruby red. On the nose, aromas of ripe, red berries, cherries, spices and toasted notes. Very dense and full-bodied on the palate, with velvety but strong tannins, very balanced structure. Powerful and complex with a long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pizza, pasta, hard cheese
Vinification
After hand harvesting, traditional mash fermentation followed by aging in French barriques for 12 months.
