About the wine
With sensitivity and instinct, the winemaker from the Italian winery Azienda Agricola Villanoviana masters this red wine in the fertile and blooming Tuscan countryside. We have a special, distinctive Merlot from 2015 for you, which many wine connoisseurs love. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Merlot with poultry or duck.

Tasting note
Rich ruby red with purple shimmer. Fruity aromas of cherry and plum, followed by spicy notes of black pepper and nutmeg. Intense, soft, well-structured, with fresh acidity and supple tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled steak, roast beef, duck breast or lamb gigot.
Vinification
Angaben über Vinifizierung: Mazeration und Fermentation während 20 Tagen in Chromstahlbehältern bei kontrollierter Temperatur. Ausbau in Barriques aus französischer Eiche aus zweiter oder dritter Benützung, für ungefähr 10 Monate.
