Tasting note
The Amistar's “little” brother, which is a selection of slightly lighter wines and is filled after just one year of storage in wooden barrels. Composed of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Lagrein. Juicy berry fruit on the nose, wild fruits and aromas of plums, surrounded by fine wood spices and delicate coffee and chocolate notes. It also has juicy fruit on the palate, with a nice tannin structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with various pasta dishes and risotto with mushrooms, beetroot and cheese dumplings with onion melt, but also with dark meat and game, braised, fried or grilled, such as braised wild boar roulades with celery puree, or Tomahawk steak from Black Angus.
