Tasting note
Il Randagio, the “stray” is a wonderful blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Delicately spicy nose with an intense scent of dark berries. On the palate, delicate wild berry aromas, soft, supple tannin and with a great drinking flow - fresh, spicy and funky!
Vinification
After selective harvesting by hand, the grapes are carefully processed in Guercio style. For this reason, he is also affectionately known as “Il Guercino”. Mash fermentation takes place in concrete tanks with a long maceration of up to 4 months, during which some of the grapes are fermented with stems and stems to obtain a more intense character. Subsequent maturation for 12 months, also in concrete tanks.
