About the wine
In 1930, the Terreni alla Maggia agricultural estate was established in the Maggia river delta. The agricultural and wine-growing area of around 130 hectares is located in the municipalities of Ascona, Locarno, Gordola and Avegno. Since 1950, wine has been cultivated in addition to agriculture and poultry farming.

Tasting note
Intensely floral with hints of berries and ripe cherries. A touch of vanilla gives it grace and elegance. Peppery and rhubarb-like undertones make it unique. Balanced and ready to drink Tannin is well present and silky. Spicy and fresh notes give a pleasant persistence.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with rich first courses with mushroom sauces or semi-aged cheese, fine red meat and marbled with concentrated sauces
Vinification
Aging in French barriques for 30 months.
