About the wine
The island of Sicily is the largest wine-growing region in Italy. The most famous and popular red grape variety is Nero d'Avola, which is grown all over Sicily and often blended with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. The most important white grape variety is Catarratto. The vines mainly grow on volcanic soils with hot and dry climates. Due to its favourable, stable climate and terroir, Sicily offers ideal conditions for organic viticulture — a quality promise that won GOLD at the Organic Wine Award in 2024.

Tasting note
Bright, bright yellow. Fresh and aromatic on the nose with notes of pear and citrus. Medium-bodied, dry and lively on the palate with hints of pear, apple and grapefruit.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with salads, seafood, grilled fish or simply as a refreshing aperitif. Serving temperature: well chilled.
Vinification
100% Grecanico from organically managed vineyards in Sicily. The grapes are picked by hand and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 15°C. The wine stays on the fine yeast for 4-6 months to develop structure and aromatic depth. Tradition and modernity come together here in vinification.
