Varonier is a third-generation family-run winery in the idyllic Valais wine village of Varen. Founded in 1969 by Caesar Varonier, the winery is nestled in a breathtaking landscape. They are committed to sustainability with conviction. Because the main aim of Varonier is to produce high-quality wines according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Since 2015, they have been cultivating their entire vineyard according to organic guidelines and also according to biodynamic principles. The Bio-Suisse company has been certified since 2023 and is constantly striving to improve in terms of sustainability in order to leave behind rich, healthy terroirs for the offspring. In doing so, they cultivate a unique style that honors and respects both tradition and the connection to the environment, people and the community. These values should also be passed on with dedication to future generations. In addition, all of the Varonier team are passionate hosts.
