Tasting note
Kräftiges, dichtes Rubinrot. Das Aroma reifer Erdbeeren ist gediegen, das ganze Bukett, wie so oft bei einem Wein von Fonseca, elegant und von grosser Konsistenz. Im Körper erinnern die Aromen an rote Beeren und erreichen eine kompottartige Dichte.
Culinary recommendation
Passt zu Wild, Hartkäse, Lamm und Pilze .
Vinification
The grapes are mashed, peeled for six days at a controlled temperature of 28°C. The alcoholic fermentation is completed in large oak barrels and bâtonnage for three months. Ageing over twelve months in new French oak barrels.
