About the wine
The winemaker from the French winery Paul Jaboulet Aîné grows this wine in the Côtes du Rhône countryside. With the dominant Shiraz 2005 — Hermitage La Chapelle AC, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Shiraz is ideal to serve with roasted vegetables or barbecues.

Tasting note
On the nose, aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries and subtle spicy notes develop. On the palate, it shows a harmonious balance between fruit and tannin, with an elegant structure and a persistent finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meats, game dishes and aged cheeses.
Vinification
After selective manual harvesting, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new.
