About the wine
The Herdade do Rocim winery is located between Vidigueira and Cuba in southern Alentejo. After Herdade was taken over by Movicortes SA in 2000, the following years were spent on restructuring, including the planting of the vineyards that now form the basis for production. The aim of these innovations was to produce high-quality grapes. Of the 120 ha, 70 ha are covered with vines, and 10 ha are cultivated with olive trees. Of the 70 ha of vineyards, 53 ha are dedicated to red varieties and 17 ha to white varieties. The Herdade do Rocim winery is located between Vidigueira and Cuba in southern Alentejo. The vineyards are equipped with an irrigation system.

Tasting note
On the nose, it shows aromas of ripe raspberries and oak vanilla, a delicate and voluminous bouquet, the Rocim Reserva is well-built and lean with fine tannins and notes of black berries. Here, the aging in barrique barrels is less noticeable than in bouquet. The voluminous aftertaste is full of fruit.
