About the wine
The winery was founded in 1896 in the municipality of Balavaud in Lower Valais. Jean-René Germanier took over the winery from his father. The estate is currently managed by Gilles Besse, Jean-René's nephew, with great success. The company has been completely equipped with new cellar technology in recent years and forms an important framework of Valais wine. Autochthonous grape varieties such as Cornalin, Humagne and Amigne have been part of the Jean-René Germanier program even before the hype about local and traditional things begins.

Tasting note
Characterful wine with an expressive citrus scent and a racy taste that is both fruity and mineral and has a subtle tannin note.

It goes well with fine fish, seafood, white meats or aged cheese — also ideal as a festive aperitif.
