About the wine
Heida (Savagnin Blanc). According to the well-known ampelographer Pierre Galet, the white grape variety is a variant of the Traminer. In Valais, the famous Heida - a wine specialty (also Heiden or Païen = French pagan) is pressed from it. A very old grape variety from which the famous “Vin Jaune” is pressed in the French Jura.

Tasting note
Straw yellow color. Extraordinarily fine, delicate bouquet, with aromas of nuts, honey and exotic fruits. Full-bodied on the palate with a nice vivacity and a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish, seafood, foie gras or Asian dishes.
