About the wine
Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Ferro13 conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. A must for connoisseurs, this outstanding red wine 2017 — Hacker Sangiovese Toscana IGT! Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Sangiovese is very good to serve with beef or lamb.
Tasting note
Cosmopolitan and sporty, I like my structure and freshness as well as my bouquet, which is reminiscent of sweet violets and small red fruits.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with steak with grilled vegetables.
Vinification
True to tradition but with an eye for innovation, my vinification and maturation take place separately for each terroir. As soon as the maturing period is complete, the blend is mixed and rested in a vat for one month before bottling.
