About the wine
The Kalk & Loess wines from Isteiner Klotz come from higher altitudes, where there is a layer of loess on the limestone. This results in accessible, fruity wines. In contrast to almost all Swiss Chasselas, Gutedel from Weingut am Klotz does not break down acids. The result is a sparkling and straight-lined wine that is ideal for an aperitif.

Tasting note
Fine nose with white fruits, apples and white flowers. Very fresh on the palate with lively acidity and mineral aftertaste.

Goes well with apero with or without platters, with mild cheese, with raclette
Vinification
Handpicked, spontaneous fermentation, 80% aging in steel and 20% in large wooden barrels.
