About the wine
Made from Nebbiolo grapes, locally known as Chiavennasca, and from autochthonous and historic grape varieties such as Pignola and Rossola. According to production regulations, Valtellina Superiore D.O.C.G. must mature for at least 24 months, including at least 12 months in oak barrels, before it is on the market.

Tasting note
Bright ruby red color that tends towards garnet red as it matures. Winey and pleasant bouquet with a characteristic scent of strawberries and violets. Spicy and persistent taste.
