About the wine
Willi Bründlmayer's winery is at the forefront of the Austrian wine scene. The winemaker owns beautiful vineyards on soils of volcanic origin around the village of Langenlois (50 km northwest of Vienna). Wines with inimitable refinement are produced here. Zweigelt is Austria's original place and is rightly celebrating a renaissance. With its velvety, full-bodied body and the typical scent of cherries, this wine knows how to impress.

Tasting note
Willi Bründlmayer's winery is a significant co-founder and a figurehead of the current Austrian wine scene. The winemaker owns beautiful vineyards on volcanic soils around the village of Langenlois (50 km northwest of Vienna). This is where wines are made with inimitable refinement. Grüner Veltliner is Austria's white specialty. The grapes for the Kamptaler Terrassen wine mostly come from young vineyards in the best terraced vineyards around Langenlois. The different altitudes provide abundance and ripe fruit on the one hand, and finesse and power on the other.
