About the wine
The Stift Göttweig, whose impressive architecture is perched on a hill opposite the Lower Austrian city of Krems, was founded in 1083 by the Bishop of Passau. It is therefore only fitting that the label of this truly divine Grüner Veltliner is decorated with an angel and the founding year. Winemaker Fritz Miesbauer has created a perfect combination of innovation and tradition that enriches every hearty dish.
