About the wine
Podere Il Palazzino is located in Monti in Chianti, in the southern part of the Chianti region. It is a farm dedicated largely to viticulture and, to a lesser extent, to the cultivation of olive trees. Il Palazzino is part of the inheritance that was built or restored during the agrarian reform of Pietro Leopoldo, the Grand Duke of Tuscany from the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. The Sderci family became owners of Podere Il Palazzino in the mid-19th century.

Tasting note
The 2018 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Grosso Sanese is a wild, powerful wine. It shows aromas of tobacco, dark chocolate, black cherries and licorice. This powerful Grosso Sanese is robust, engaging and long. It needs air to develop.
