About the wine

Tasting note
This light yellow Grillo delights with its strong aromas of ripe stone fruits, mirabelle compote, some green apple and citrus. On the palate, it is full-bodied with lots of fruit and a strong acidity. A wonderfully refreshing white wine from hot Sicily.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, Mediterranean cuisine, all kinds of starters, fish & seafood.
Vinification
The Grillo grape variety used to provide the basic material for the best Marsala on the island. Today, it is also used more and more often for unfortified quality wines. The vines for this Grillo grow around Santa Ninfa and are all harvested by hand. After destemming, fermentation takes place in a steel tank and subsequent storage on the fine yeast.
