Tasting note
Ripe berry fruit and spices form the varietal and terroir-specific prelude to this traditionalist in the bouquet. With this plant, you would spontaneously tap Pinot Noir from Valais in a blind tasting session. And rightly so, because the tannins are round and juicy on the palate, the texture is polished and the delicate, fruity structure leaves no doubt about the level of quality and provenance. The special terroir of Salgesch really comes through in this Pinot Noir.
