About the wine
Laurent-Perrier is one of the few large champagne houses that do not release their prestige cuvée as vintage champagne. Instead of facing the uncertainties of a single vintage, winemaker Michel Fauconnet creates the exceptionally complex Grande Siècle from a combination of three ideally complementary vintages. The 2004 vintage provides aromatic depth, while 2002 and 2006 provide body and impressive structure.

Tasting note
On the nose, there is a delicate interplay of peach, pear, pineapple and apple, accompanied by lively citrus notes. This is accompanied by notes of brioche and toast The champagne impresses with a long, fine and persistent perlage and is overall a large, complex wine.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal as an aperitif and the perfect accompaniment to oysters, fish dishes and salads.
