Tasting note
A composition of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. Aged for 10 months in large wooden barrels, without biological acid degradation. In the bouquet, first floral aromas, then citrus tones, ginger and a slightly smoky spiciness, harmoniously underlined with notes of buttery puff pastry and orange shortbread. Complex, fresh and engaging, has ripe fruit, lots of bite and fine length.
Culinary recommendation
As a fine aperitif, accompanied by oysters or caviar with fish and crustaceans, hearty starters and white meat, e.g. veal fillet with lemon sauce.
