About the wine
Grand Bateau is the result of close collaboration with Château Beychevelle and was created in the 1980s. The boat that adorns the label is reminiscent of the mythical Drakkar of the prestigious Château BEYCHEVELLE. Philippe Blanc, director of Château Beychevelle, provides valuable assistance in the final compilation of Grand Bateau. Impeccable and consistent quality, a unique style that combines a solid framework, the beauty of the fruit and soft spicy notes. He embodies the nobility of the great Bordeaux.

Tasting note
Deep, intense red, clear and shiny. Elegant and balanced, with aromas of ripe red fruits (strawberry, cherry), complemented by spicy notes and subtle smoky nuances. Well structured with fine, silky tannins. The wine is harmonious and elegant, with a long, persistent finish that combines red fruits, spices and subtle wood notes.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled red meat, stews, aged cheese or roast poultry. Also great with a charcuterie platter.
