About the wine
Tenute Smeralda is a young agricultural company that was created as a continuation of the Cocco Francesca company, which has been active in the wine sector for around 50 years. Thanks to its microclimate, it is particularly suitable for growing local vineyards such as Vermentino and Cannonau. The latter is known for its high content of procyanidinis, a powerful antioxidant and as an elixir of life.

Tasting note
Light ruby red that develops into garnet color over time. On the nose, intense aromas of berries, reminiscent of Mediterranean maccia and Sardinian spices. Persistently warm, soft and velvety on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Red and grilled meats, Mediterranean cuisine.
Vinification
Maceration for 2 weeks at controlled temperature, malolactic fermentation in steel tanks.
