About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Rioja Vega absolutely masters his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and beautiful landscape of the Upper Ebro. With the present Tempranillo 2009 — Gran Reserva Rioja DOCA, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Tempranillo with barbecue or polenta.

Tasting note
A dense, clear ruby red appears in the glass. On the nose, an elegant aroma of black berries and spices. On the palate, a ripe tannin structure, full-bodied, elegant, complex and with a persistent aftertaste.

Vinification
Traditional vinification. Aging for 3 years in American oak barrels, then a further 2 years in bottle.
