About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Casa Santos in the sunny and picturesque Alentejo countryside masters this red wine. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2022, it's this powerful Shiraz 2019 — Gran Fortissimo. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Shiraz with barbecue or roasted vegetables.

Tasting note
It is a wine with intense color, with pleasant aromas of ripe red fruits well balanced with spicy notes. Balanced, persistent and pleasant aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with barbecues, game specialties and various types of cheese.
Vinification
The grapes, which had previously been destemmed, were mashed at a low temperature for 24 hours. The alcoholic fermentation takes place for 14 days in stainless steel tanks with a temperature control of between 26o - 28oC. Aging for eight months in French and American oak barrels.
