About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it will be this provocative red wine 2019 — Graf Lagrein Alto Adige DOC. Picturesque and blooming landscapes in South Tyrol give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Kellerei Meran Burggräfler conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
Dark garnet red. Multifaceted bouquet with fruity notes of cherries and plums as well as floral nuances such as violets and a hint of dark chocolate. Character: On the palate, it is lively, beautifully velvety with harmonious tannins and a smooth, long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game, dark meat, hard cheese and much more.

Several months in barriques.
