Color: Dense, opaque cherry red with a black core. Aromatics: Intense, complex scent, peonies, ripe raspberries, cassis, spicy notes, distinctive, toasted, balsamic notes, tobacco, licorice and vanilla. Body: Silky, full-bodied, very long start, strong, opulent palate, well-integrated tannins, present aromas. Quality: An ancient Spanish grape in a modern guise.
