About the wine

It was only a few years ago that we founded Smith & Smith - but we can already tell a few stories. Our wines tell the rest. Of course, very special wines. Some elegant, others lascivious, generous, some loudly, others whisper, all with character, individualists. And sometimes we long for the simple, the self-evident, the original, the “That's the way it is here”, here in Rioja, or even here in Tessin, that's the way White Merlot is here - and that's the way it should be. No tam-tam — just good wine with roots. It's approaching Christmas today, i.e. winter, cold and humid, but also the lovely warm lights, blurred by fog or snow, and who wouldn't want to get out there, out into the open air, out into the cold, up on the ice. And who doesn't appreciate such a beautiful, fine, prancing yet cheerful, warming accompaniment like Giselle Chaud made from white wine, ginger, orange and honey, or our kitsch-free and contemporary, sleek Glöggli mulled wine? Just plug in and enjoy the cold season. Enjoy!
