Tasting note
Color: Light pale gold Aroma: The scent of citrus and ripening peaches is softened by notes of vanilla and creme brulée. Taste: This whiskey, which is soft on the palate, first develops aromas of vanilla and then turns into an explosion of floral fruitiness and a long finish with orange and peach notes.
Vinification
The Glenmorangie Original is distilled twice in Scotland's highest stills and then matures for 1 year in former American bourbon barrels, which are used once or twice, including impressive, air-dried “designer barrels” from Missouri. In this phase, the whiskey develops peach and vanilla aromas and finds the perfect, complex balance that is characteristic of the house's style.
