Tasting note
Color: Light pale gold Aroma: The scent of citrus and ripening peaches is softened by notes of vanilla and creme brulée. Taste: This whiskey, which is soft on the palate, first develops aromas of vanilla and then turns into an explosion of floral fruitiness and a long finish with orange and peach notes.
Vinification
The Glenmorangie Original is distilled twice in Scotland's tallest stills and then matures for 12 years in former American bourbon barrels, which are used once or twice, including impressive, air-dried “designer barrels” from Missouri. In this phase, the whiskey develops peach and vanilla aromas and finds the perfect, complex balance that is characteristic of the house's style.
