Tasting note
The Lergenmüller family has been vinifying wines for 15 generations. However, the Sankt Annaberg winery was only bought in 1998. In 2012, still under the care of her father Jürgen Lergenmüller, the young oenologist Victoria Lergenmüller created her first vintage in 2013. The Sankt Annaberg monopoly benefits from an incredibly diverse portfolio of land. The wines are characterized by sandy weathering rock, red sandstone and even slate soils and radiate the events they have experienced over the year with full power and elegance. The Gleisweiler Hölle is a special drop that is characterized by a presence of acidity and mineral freshness at the same time. Green apple, citrus, a fine touch of stone fruit and green notes are reflected in the taste. The vines, which are up to 65 years old, are trying to obtain existing water resources at a depth of 30 meters, which are only stored for a short time in the red sandstone.
