About the wine

The winemaker from the Italian winery Barsento has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and blooming countryside of Puglia. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Primitivo with brasato or spicy hard cheese.
Tasting note
Ruby red with purple reflections, the bouquet is elegant with lots of fruity notes of plums, blackberries and a remarkable fruit sweetness. Remains supple on the finish with strong, round tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roast, medium-aged cheeses.
Vinification
Fermentation of up to 20 days in steel tanks. Aging for refinement in large oak barrels.
