About the wine
GIO - named after the head of Cantine Risveglio, Giovanni Nardelli is a unique red wine from Brindisi that is second to none. Made from the well-known and local Primitivo grape variety. Stored in barrique barrels for at least 12 months, which gives the wine the additional name “Riserva”. A wine for every festive occasion.

Tasting note
Nice ruby red. Complex aroma of fruits and spices (plums, cherries, blackberries, wood, vanilla). Dry, warm, soft on the palate, with great body structure. Balanced and intense aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with leg of lamb, venison, wild boar, roast beef or grilled meat.
