About the wine

The history of this winery dates back to 1885. Recent history, however, begins in 1969 with the entry of Winemaker luminary Paul Draper. Together with the reputation for its outstanding “Premier Cru” Monte Bello Cabernet, Ridge is considered the actual interest rate specialist. The Geyserville vineyard is located at the northern end of the Sonoma Valley. It dates back to the 19th century and is stocked with vines over 100 years old, 3/4 Zinfandel plus Carignane, Petite Sirah and Mataro. The storable wine impresses with its power and elegance, a fiery race and intense aromas with black fruits and spices.
