About the wine

Picturesque and blooming landscapes in South Tyrol give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Alois Lageder conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Gewürztraminer with shrimp or crab dishes.

Tasting note
Shiny, thick yellow with reddish reflections. Distinctly fresh fruity on the nose. Delicate aromas of flowers, especially roses. This is accompanied by notes of ripe, exotic fruit. Seductive and delicate. Dry on the palate, with a strong body and lively acidity. Wonderfully fruity on the palate too. Medium-long, slightly bitter aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with terrines, sausages or grilled fish.
Vinification
Before the pressing process, the grapes are subjected to a short cold maceration. After pressing, the grape must is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and aged on fine yeast for around four months.
