About the product
For Gewürztraminer, Rochelt uses whole grapes from Austrian Burgenland. These are harvested when fully ripe, transported to Rochelt in the Inn Valley, where they are destemmed and then fermented naturally. The resulting mash is fired twice and then stored in glass balloons for at least 8 years.
Tasting note
Very grumpy on the nose, dry style. Rose bush and soft nougat notes. On the palate, floral bouquet, yet juicy and elegant, very grapey substance. Slim and slim with a proud attitude. Long fruity aftertaste.
