Tasting note
New to the range! Golden in the glass, almost amber-colored. On the nose, a fine fruit sweetness and scent notes reminiscent of quince, dried fruit, delicate rose petals and dried flowers. The palate develops a concentrated, sweet and subtle honey flavor.
Vinification
The vines grow on a hillside in Kurtatsch at an altitude of 400 meters facing east on limestone soils from moraine deposits. The grapes are harvested in December, when the berries of the popular noble mushroom 'Botrytis cinerea' are finely coated. It causes the natural concentration of berry juice. Fermentation takes place very slowly over two months in small wooden containers. It will be expanded over a period of eleven months. After bottling, the wine is aged in the bottle for another year.
