About the wine
Subtle bouquet with floral and fruity notes. On the palate, finesse and elegance with lots of freshness and a good balance of ripe fruit. A Gevrey of good subtlety with the finest reflections of the terroir and a balanced finish and good durability.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with leg of lamb, duck fillet, beef bourguignons, chicken in wine sauce, strong cheeses.
Vinification
Grapes from 1959 vines on the site, called “Chores”. Traditional winemaking with natural yeasts. Ageing in wooden barrels, 25% of which are new.
