About the wine
Domaine Trapet is an excellent address on the Burgundian Côte de Nuits. She is an actual specialist in top-class pinots noirs from the municipality of Gevrey-Chambertin with excellent locations up to Grand Cru Chambertin. The style of the house is based on classicism, typicality and finesse. Natural farming is carried out with a high level of commitment following the example of demanding biodynamic principles.

Tasting note
Medium ruby red. Elegant, elegant nose, with notes of ripe, red berries, some spice and subtle roasted aromas. Accessible and seductive on the palate, with aromas of raspberries and cherries, toasted notes and light balsamic tones. With its subtle, finely woven tannin structure, it is flattering and harmonious. Succulent texture. Medium length on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
An elegant accompaniment to rich dishes with beef fillet, venison, rack of lamb and mature French cheese specialties.
Vinification
After careful harvesting by hand, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in the mash. The young wine then matures partly in new and also in used pièces.
