Tasting note
Gemischter Satz is the name for a wine that consists of different grape varieties from the same vineyard. In contrast to a “cuvée”, several grape varieties are grown together in one vineyard and, after harvesting together, are also pressed and fermented together. Baumgartner's combines Grüner Veltliner, Müller-Thurgau and Riesling. Fresh, fruity nose with aromas of juicy pome fruit, mirabelles, apricots and citrus fruits, accompanied by fine floral scents. On the palate, on the other hand, wonderfully fruity, fresh and sparkling, with great drinking flow.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with an aperitif, but also with small snacks, sophisticated starters, fine vegetable cuisine and various light fish dishes.
