About the wine
Gregorio and Barbara Odoardi look back on the 500-year history of the family business with the “GB”. From founder Giovan Battista to her son, who is the same name, and will soon continue the company.
Tasting note
The scent spectrum of leather, cinnamon and clove plays virtuously with your sense of smell. Afterwards, refreshing nuances of wild strawberry and black cherry resolutely and consciously convince your taste buds. With subdued, finely developed tannins, a light body and dominant acidity, this red wine presents its flawless structure. This top wine received the award: WineSpectator: 92/100, Veronelli: 3 stars, Expovina: Gold.
Culinary recommendation
An ideal accompaniment to all kinds of meat dishes and spicy dishes, especially game, lamb, grilled meats, gigot and roasts go perfectly, but also fresh pasta with a strong sauce and aged cheeses.
