About the wine
Founded by Pio Cesare since 1881, the winery has stood for the highest level of quality and tradition. Since the middle of the 19th century, Pio Cesare has been one of the top addresses in Piedmont, producing great wines on this terroir with tremendous quality efforts. This top winery, which is now famous all over the world for Barolo and Barbaresco, is managed by the fifth generation. The current owners Giuseppe Boffa (his wife Rosi is the granddaughter of the founder Pio Cesare) and Pio Boffa also see themselves as traditionalists.

Tasting note
Enchanted by its light and lively fruit character, it is fresh, juicy and has an excellent delicate taste. Ideal for light summer cooking, fish and rice dishes and white meats, but also as a fine dessert companion.
