About the wine
Blooming and picturesque landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Castellari Bergaglio conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Marco Bergaglio is the 4th generation to run the 10-hectare family business exclusively planted with Cortese. The winery is newly furnished: clear, simple, manageable. What they produce is just as clear: Gavi. And a Gavi of the extra dimension at that. The various vineyards are vinified individually and named after their origin: Fornaci. It is the youngest vines on the estate that produce a refreshing, youthful wine, fine and elegant in its aroma, invigorating and appetizing on the palate.

Vinification
Angaben über Vinifizierung: Marco Bergaglio leitet in 4. Generation den 10 ha umfassenden, ausschliesslich mit Cortese bepflanzten Familienbetrieb. Die Kellerei ist neu eingerichtet: Klar, einfach, überblickbar. Was sie produzieren ist ebenso eindeutig: Gavi. Und zwar einen Gavi der Extradimension. Die verschiedenen Lagen werden einzeln vinifiziert und nach ihrer Herkunft benannt: Fornaci. Die zwischen 30 und 80 Jahre alten Rebstöcke ergeben ein spannendes Gefüge von lieblich würzigen Aromen und einer lebhaften Rasse im Gaumen.
