About the wine
The Cortese vine has been known in Piedmont since the 18th century. Today, it grows primarily in the southwest corner, where its grapes ripen early in a warm climate. Gavi is the most famous Cortese wine. In 1887, the knight Francesco Borgogno laid the foundation stone for the Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno wine house in the heart of Barolo with his few arene vines on the famous hill of Cannubi. Borgogno is still a family business today that maintains tradition and produces wines.

Tasting note
Light yellow with greenish print. Fine, fresh citrus notes in the bouquet with floral accents. The palate is dry, fine, with lively acidity. Pleasant aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with starters such as Vitello tonnato, fish or meat terrine or charcuterie.
