About the wine
A unique combination of volcanic soil and the mountain climate of Etna characterizes this sparkling wine. The traditional Nerello Mascalese grapes produce an elegant blanc de noirs with fine perlage and golden reflections. Whole grapes are gently pressed in a historic wine cellar from the 17th century. Gaudensius impresses with its complex, stylish taste and lasting elegance.

Tasting note
Brilliant gold. Intense and fruity on the nose with fine notes of Sicilian citrus, brioche and anise. On the palate, complex taste, full-bodied and mineral. On the finish, the sparkling wine has an aftertaste of currants and almonds.
Culinary recommendation
Gaudensius sparkling wine goes well with a variety of dishes with fish, seafood and white meat. It is also a pleasure with mild cheeses and vegetarian dishes. With its elegant perlage and complex aromas, it is also perfect as an aperitif or accompaniment to special occasions.
