Garibaldi Guerello Toscana IGT 2018 - Vini Garibaldi

The Guerello is a tribute to the hound of the same name, which was wounded during the Battle of San Antonio in 1846 and rescued by Giuseppe Garibaldi. The henceforth three-legged Guerello followed Garibaldi to Italy, where he was known and celebrated for his bravery. Deep purple robe with garnet reflections. Elegant bouquet with notes of leather, black berries, licorice and plums. Full bodied on the palate with velvety tannins and a nice balance between acidity and fruit. Aromas of ripe, red fruits and violets accompanied by a hint of vanilla are noticeable before ending in a pleasing, persistent finish.
