About the wine
The winemaker from the Israeli winery Golan Heights greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside. With the strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 — Gamla Red Blend, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Cabernet Sauvignon is very good to serve with ribeye steak or pizza with mushrooms.

Tasting note
The “Gamla Red Blend” pampers the nose in a finely structured way with aromas of ripe cherries and plums, combined with fascinating characters of spices, flowers, tobacco, cocoa, earth, orange peels and herbs. However, with a complex and full body, this wine is fresh and well aged.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roast beef, Moroccan lamb tagine or with a crispy pizza.
Vinification
This delicate blend is made from various varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The grapes come from vineyards on the Golan Heights and other vineyards in the Upper Galilee region. It is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
